Patricia Pannell

A vision of effervescing hope emerges from the shadows into the glorious light of God. Heaven resounds with shouts of Hosanna, Alleluia, and Glory as a thunderously gentle voice proclaims, "Well done good and faithful servant!"

The saints of heaven welcome this spotless bride of Jesus as she takes her place at the throne of God to join in the eternal chorus, nevermore to know pain, or suffering, or trial, or tribulation.

She lived her life solely for the purpose of being in glory and to see Jesus come again. Her life was not in vain. Patricia Pannell has come home, finally feasting at the Lord's banquet table.

We say thank you "Trisha" and we love you for:

The fine example of a Christian mother that you presented to all who came to know you.

The endearing laugh that echoes through our lives even today.

The warm smile that greeted us so many times and often when we needed it the most.

Your quiet way of feasting at our "banquet table" while we ate and fellowshipped in the presence of the Lord.

The way you showed us the unconditional love of a mother, a wife and a sister.

The way you called us to holiness and then revealed the glory of the resurrection. When we heard that call and answered it.

The way your spirit rejoiced whenever someone started to talk about the magnificence of God in our lives.

The way you loved us unconditionally and served us when we were in need.

The gifts of music and family that you inspired in us.

We lament because you are no longer able to touch us the way that you did so many times in comforting.

We lament that we cannot hear the lyrical tones of your voice giving glory to Our Lord as you sang "Amazing Grace,"" The Lords Prayer," and the "23rd Psalm," in that special way.

We rejoice in the knowledge that you have run the race and have attained the prize.

We look forward to one day revisiting you in the splendor of eternal joy when we may hear those wonderful words of reward.

For the constant asking of the question "Are you ready?"

For these things and all of the rest that are not remembered now but will be savored in the days, weeks, and years to come as we recall our intertwined lives, we say thank you.

So long "girlfriend!"
